Ivano Alberto Fossati & Oscar Prudente – Tema Del Lupo

( Italia , 1973 , Fonit Cetra )

For today, I wanted to share with you “Tema Del Lupo“, an outstanding uptempo psychedelic Freakbeat Funk Soultrack with killer flute breaks that sounds like a theme of a lost Italian Western movie soundtrack a la Ennio Morricone, taken from the first album of the Italian composers, arrangers & musicians Ivano Alberto Fossati & Oscar Prudente, recorded in 1973.

This song has been covered many times and was even released later in 1975 on the mythical American label “Roulette” as “The Night Of The Wolf” by Ivano & Oscar under their alias “Al Foster Band” (slightly different version), but this one will remain by far my favorite, always dancefloor burner when I”m deejaying in night clubs – Enjoy !
