For today, I’d like to share with you “Mande Moin On Lajan, Pa Mande Moin Za Fe An Moin (My Business)“, an instant feel-good Island Boogie Zouk Funk from the French West Indies, taken from the 2nd and last album of “The Group NSI“, a band composed by the biggest figures of Guadeloupe & Martinique’s music of this era such as the brothers Georges & Pierre-Edouard Decimus (founder of the mythical “Kassav” band, that managed to blend all of the Caribbean musical influences) & members of the famous Desvarieux family.

The band was composed with :

Georges & Pierre-Edouard Decimus  : Bass, Synthesizer, Guitar, Chorus, Handclaps, Production ;

Cida Desvarieux, Freddy Marshall, Marie Dominique, Patricia Erambert : Chorus ;

Gervais Nerva, Victorius Masse, Malachi Thompson : Trumpet ;

Charles Gassette, Gustave-Marie Catin : Saxophone ;

Jocelyn Mocka : Vocals, Chorus, Handclaps ;

Serge Bourgeois : Drums, Percussion ;

Francoise Lancreot : Alto Flute ;

Edouard Decimus : Accordion ;

Ramon Pyrmée : Synthesizer ;

Hard to find album, that I’d highly recommend as a like a musical imprint of that era, perfect musical blend – Hope you’ll like it, enjoy !

For today, I wanted to share with you “Doudou Créole“, an instant catchy breezy Island Zouk Boogie Soul track with Reggae flavors, taken from the only maxi single of the ephemera band “Milton“, that featured the best musicians from the French West Indies of that era, including several members of the mythical band “Kassav” from Antilles & Guadeloupe :

Arrangements : Jean-Claude Naimro ;

Lead Vocals : Patrick Saint-Eloi ;

Piano : Jose Bedin ;

Written-By : Eddy La Viny, Jean-Pierre Rascas ;

Summer anthem sweetness, recorded in 1988 in Paris (France) by the legendary French engineer Dominique Blanc-Francard at Continental Studio – Enjoy !
