Following to that former post, I wanted to share with you for today “Julie“, a nice psychedelic island Soul Rock Surf instrumental track taken from the first single recorded in 1968 by “Les Rapaces“, a band from Mayotte island in the Comoros archipelago (Indian Ocean) that began its career in the late 60s, playing covers, yeye or segas in hotels of the country – Enjoy !

“Les Rapaces” was one of the few bands from Mayotte (one of Comoros archipelago islands, in the Indian Ocean), whose musical scene is too little known.

They released one album and a few singles at the end of the 70s, and I decided to share with you for today “Journée Dans Mon Pays“, a tropical uptempo blend of Cadence & N’Gondro (Comorian musical style), personal favourite and that never leaves my DJ bag – Enjoy !
