For today, I wanted to share with you “O Fon A Kê An Nou“, a gorgeous Island Synth Gwo-Ka Fusion Jazz Soul track, written in 1987 in Guadeloupe (French West Indies) by the Guadeloupean musician Thibault “Freydy-Ahimsâ” Doressamy.
The music on that record is composed by the legendary Guadeloupean composer Robert Oumaou (from the mythical band “Gwakasonne“), and backed by :
Klôd Kiavué : Vocals, Percussion ;
Jera Elice : Vocals, Percussion ;
Eddy Pitard : Saxophone, Flute, Guitar ;
Lambert Canneval : Percussion ;
Aurel Thams : Keyboards ;
Lowans : Bass, Percussion, Drums ;
One of my favorite record of the genre, hope you’ll like it too – Enjoy !
