For today, I wanted to share with you “Korô Dia“, an outstanding bewitching 10min long Afro Blues Soul Folk track with catchy guitar riffs & beautiful vocals & synths parts, taken from the 3rd album of the Malian Diva Nâ Hawa Doumbia (also spelled Nahawa Doumbia), recorded in 1982.

This album features the following musicians :

Moussa Traoré : Kamele Ngoni (kind of Malian harp) ;

N’Gou Bakayoko : acoustic guitar ;

One of my favorite album of the genre, gorgeous from start to finish, hope you’ll like it – Enjoy !

 During all of his childhood, he fully very involved into sports, but decided to become a musician at the age of 20. A few years later, he created his band, “L’international Challal“, that became soon one of the most popular groups of the country, always on tour.

For today, I wanted to share with you “Les Jaloux Saboteurs“, his most famous song, an instant feel-good & frantic uptempo Afro Soukous Funky track recorded in 1983 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) that quickly became a huge African anthem in most of the countries of the continent, and still is nowadays – Enjoy !
