Bell’A Njoh – Ebolo (Cameroun, SOH, 1978)

Today, I wanted to share with you one of my favourite secret dancefloor weapon, a track from Bell’a Njoh, a Cameroonian artist native of Douala and a friend of mine who passed away a few years ago..

Bell’A Njoh was, with Nkotti François and his Black Styls, one of the father of the Makossa, a musical genre from the city of Douala, and he recorded several albums from the 70s to the 90s.

Ebolo“, the track presented here, is a unique Tropical Afro Disco Boogie song with crazy synths, taken from his first albums and that always set on fire all the dancefloors when I play it – Enjoy !!
