Armen Quintet – Yerazi Bess (Armenia, 1971, Self-Released)

For today, I wanted to share with you “Yerazi Bess“, a bewitching Jazz Soul Funk track with Bossa Nova influences, taken from the only LP by the Armenian/Lebanese band Armen Quintet, recorded in 1971 at the mythical “Thunder” recording studios in Toronto (Canada), and that was composed with :

Garbis Libarian (Vocals, Band leading) ;

George Kallibjian (Drums, Congas) ;

Jack DerMagerdijian (Flute) ;

Kevork Maroukian (Guitar) ;

Hagop Artinian (Arrangements, Piano, Organ, Saxophone, Bass).

A really beautiful but sadly really hard to find LP nowadays, so hope you’ll like it – Enjoy !
