For today, I wanted to share with you “Minueyo Boongalo“, an uplifting 60s Afro Latin Boogaloo Jazz track with strong Cuban influences, taken from a super hard to find compilation recorded in the 60s by Joseph Kabasele “Kallé” & l’African Team, a bunch of legendary African musicians that included greatest names such as Manu Dibango, Tabu Ley Rochereau, Joseph “Mujos” MulamaJean Kwami Munsi – Enjoy !

Mantra was a quite obscure band from the city of Fort-de-France (Martinique, in the French West Indies) that released only one album in the late 70s.
