In tribute to the Cameroonian musician legend Emmanuel “Manu” N’Djoké Dibango, who passed away today, I’ve decided to share with you for the first time online the outstanding Jazz track “Soulogie“, taken from his impossible to find first single ever (I think), out in 1961 – Enjoy !
I found this record a few years ago, at a former record store owner’s house in the city of Garoua (capital of the North Region of Cameroon), after a 18 hours train & bus travel from the city of Yaoundé !
