Fania Basse Terrienne was a combo from Guadeloupe (French West Indies), leaded by the trumpeter and composer Astasie Philogene and composed by several great musicians from the bests bands of the island such as Les Aiglons, Typical Combo, Super Combo and Les Players.

The track presented here, “Fania Basse Terrienne“, is taken from their one and only album recorded live in 1970 and is an awesome hommage to the famous “Fania All Stars” latin band of Johnny Pacheco – Enjoy !
