For today, I wanted to share with you “Phone Me Tonight“, a killer balearic Cosmic Afro Synth Disco Soul track with awesome organ parts, taken from an ultra rare single recorded in France in the early 80s by the legendary Cameroonian composer, musician & producer Eko Roosevelt Louis & produced in very small quantities, and that doesn’t appear on any of his albums.

Serious invisible holy grail here, hope you’ll enjoy !

For today, I wanted to share with you “Clin D’Oeil A Luc“, a deep balearic 90s electronic Island Synth Maloya Jazz Funk track, taken from the second album recorded in 1990 by the composer & musician Jean-Marc “Marco” Payet from Reunion island (Indian Ocean) probably in tribute to the legendary reunionese composer & violinist Marie Emilien Luçay Donat, better known as “Luc Donat“.

This song has the same vibes than the best ones from the mythical reunionese band “Ziskakan“, that I also really love – Hope you’ll like it, enjoy !

Ahmed Fakrun – Njoo El Leyl (Libya, 1977, Polydor)

Following to this previous article, I wanted to share with you for today “Njoo El Leyl” (“نجو الليل“, what could be translated by “the night survived” in arabic), a killer downtempo dance floor Arabic Synth Funk Boogie track with Reggae flavors, catchy guitar riffs & deep flute parts, recorded in 1973 at Tommy Vance Studios (London, Great Britain) by the Libyan musician Ahmed Fakroun from Benghazi, during one of his European trips between the 1970s and 1980s where he used to compose his albums & singles, and released in Italy in 1977 on the mythical label “Polydor” – Enjoy !
