For today, I wanted to share with you “O Fon A Kê An Nou“, a gorgeous Island Synth Gwo-Ka Fusion Jazz Soul track, written in 1987 in Guadeloupe (French West Indies) by the Guadeloupean musician Thibault “Freydy-Ahimsâ” Doressamy.

The music on that record is composed by the legendary Guadeloupean composer Robert Oumaou (from the mythical band “Gwakasonne“), and backed by :

Klôd Kiavué : Vocals, Percussion ;

Jera Elice : Vocals, Percussion ;

Eddy Pitard : Saxophone, Flute, Guitar ;

Lambert Canneval : Percussion ;

Keyboards : Aurel Thams ;

Lowans : Bass, Percussion, Drums ;

For today, I wanted to share with you « Yasmina », an awesome catchy Biguine Island Jazz Funk Cadence instrumental track from the French West Indies (Guadeloupe), taken from an album recorded in the 70s by the Guadeloupean flutist & singer Paul Louis & produced & arranged by his brother, the mythical Caribbean composer & pianist Roland Louis, including legendary musicians such as :

–          Marcel Louis-Joseph (saxophone) ;

–          Al Julien (vocals) ;

–          Amédée Suriam (drums).
