Les Rapaces – Journée Dans Mon Pays (Comoros, 1980, Piros)

Les Rapaces” was one of the few bands from Mayotte (one of Comoros archipelago islands, in the Indian Ocean), whose musical scene is too little known.

They released one album and a few singles at the end of the 70s, and I decided to share with you for today “Journée Dans Mon Pays“, a tropical uptempo blend of Cadence & N’Gondro (Comorian musical style), personal favourite and that never leaves my DJ bag – Enjoy !
